Half Full (B.1984. Evanston, Illinois) is an artist and educator living in Portland, ME. His current body of work focuses on nostalgia, while acknowledging the imperfections of memory. His painting process celebrates inefficiency, slowness and imperfection in a fast paced world. He views his visual arrangements as landscapes consisting of recurring symbols, motifs and characters. The everyday objects, products and plants create a safe space, while reflecting the contradictions and humor of contemporary life.
